Some Coffee Equipment Advice Needed

Plainly put, I will soon be in need of a new coffee maker, and I am looking to you kind readers for advice and recommendations.
While I do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on a new one (and am a bit of a cheap bastard at times), I do care about the quality of coffee I drink and want the best bang for my buck, obviously. If there are any styles, brands or models you would recommend I check out, please let me know here, and thank you in advance for your thoughts.
