Lower, For Now

It was a pleasant surprise to drive down Elmwood Avenue this weekend and, besides seeing lots of holiday shoppers, noticing that the price of a regular gallon of gasoline had fallen to $1.999.
While the Buffalo/Western New York area is still way too high for gasoline prices, we have fallen out of the lead in the nation; as of the last survey, I believe Buffalo had fallen to third place in the highest per-gallon price of regular gasoline in the U.S. Yay, us.
