Sabres Win Third Straight

At least things on the hockey front are looking a bit better; the Buffalo Sabres won their third game in a row last night, coming from behind to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning, 4-2.
The Sabres were led by two goals from Thomas Vanek, who leads the NHL with 22 goals, and there were several spirited fights and skirmishes, a reassuring show of emotion from a team that needs to play with this emotion and work ethic every night.
