The Lawn Cycle Continues

I looked out the kitchen window Wednesday morning and noticed that the grass, which I mowed last Friday, already looked pretty high and ragged.
Today, Thursday, when I looked out the kitchen window, the lawn looked overgrown and in dire need of mowing. While I usually mow the lawn once a week during the spring, summer and maybe early fall, usually I can stretch things out a bit during the real hot season and sometimes at the start of mowing time. Apparently not this year.
Oh, and no progress in the investigation into the moving garbage tote and backyard dog chain.
