Continuing Cold: Stop, Please

Yeah, there's nothing better than waking up May 19 and, on my morning trundle to the shower, the furnace starts up and goes on way too much.
Sadly, I think I have figured out part of the reason why it has been so cold these past few days; when the natural gas bill came in last week, I was happy to see a relatively low charge when I opened the National Fuel envelope and, my mistake, I said so out loud.
Here's hoping that I won't have to break out my scraper when I go to my car this morning, and I apologize for taunting winter, spring and the cold.
