When I looked at the page describing my blog's status, name and usage, I noticed that coming into today, I have written 1,066 posts for this fine blog.
Being the history geek that I am, the first thing that came to mind was that the Battle of Hastings was fought in 1066. In fact, there was a question on Jeopardy! last night concerning the Battle of Hastings.
