A Few Dollars for the Wolves

During Monday's Versus broadcast of the Buffalo Sabres-Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game/Sidney Crosby love fest, a Toyota commercial came on that made me immediately sit up.
"Damn, that sounds like Los Lobos," I said to Val, who was writing something on her laptop computer and missed it. The song sounded very much like "Good Morning, Aztlan," and indeed, it was that Los Lobos song being used in the commercial.
I used to rant and rave about commercial exploitation of music and selling out, but it is the art created by the band and they have that choice of how to use it. I hope it also exposes Los Lobos' music to more people.

That is close but most definitely NOT Los Lobos...the ad folks seem to have liberally helped themselves to a sound-aike

It's not the actual Los Lobos recording of "Good Morning, Aztlan," but it is someone the advertising company hired doing the song.
