Silent Night, Peaceful Night

Val and I wish all of our readers and everyone we know or will know a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, or joyous, meaningful celebrations of Ramadan, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice or, if you do not mark a specific holiday, peace on earth and goodwill to all people.
Speaking of silent night, after we got back from Val's mom's house from the second family holiday celebration (we went to my mother's house yesterday), a little more than an hour ago, I took Walker Evans on his neighborhood jaunt/walk. Except for our several blocks down Elmwood Avenue (between Lexington and Hodge) that we walked, we saw one vehicle, a City of Buffalo truck, the entire time, and less than 10 people.
