Burchfield Penney: Impressive

I don't have enough time to go into detail just yet, but Val and I visited the new Burchfield Penney Art Center on the Buffalo State College campus on Elmwood Avenue Sunday during its grand opening, and we were both very impressed by the building and artwork.
The interior is very well done and a much larger, moving space than I expected, and the collection has some great work in it, although I said to Val in all honesty that, except for the Milton Rogovin area, it has much too little photography in it.
