NHL Opening Night Blues

As I alluded to in an earlier post, Val and I are DVRing tomorrow night's Buffalo Sabres' season-opening game at home against the New York Islanders due to a family (Val's side) wedding. This also means that we will miss some, if not all, of the opening night live thread on Bfloblog, and we do apologize for missing it.
And to think that the bride is allegedly a major Sabres' fan; come on, Kim. Val was half-jokingly considering wearing her Sabres' jersey to the wedding and reception.
