Two Thumbs Up for Springsteen

We just got the new Bruce Springsteen CD, "We Shall Overcome: the Seeger Sessions," and upon our first listening, Val and I are very impressed by and enjoying the music; on top of that, Val's mother, Jan, asked for it for Mother's Day, and we just bought her a copy from New World Record. The Springsteen CD is actually a two-sided disc, with a 30-minute film on the making of the CD, two extra songs and artists' comments, so we heartily recommend its purchase, say, from New World Record.
One of the reasons that Jan is probably interested in this CD, and to bring this home even more, is that Jan and Val met Pete Seeger at a fundraiser Seeger was playing for then-Presidential candidate Jerry Brown at at the Village Gate in New York City in 1992.
