Update II

I wrote a bit about a job for a senior writer/editor that I had applied for and made it past the first round and into the next one, where we were assigned two writing tasks to submit for consideration.
Sadly, while I believe I am extremely qualified for this position, I got an e-mail back Monday saying I had not advanced to the next round, which would be job interviews. Some people got this notification more than a week before I received it.
I do have a couple of other jobs I have and am in the process of applying for, among others, so we will see what happens next. But damn, I am sick of not working.
