Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men: Wow

Val and I recently got home from the Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men show at the Sportsmen's Tavern, and holy cow, was it a fantastic set.
Alvin and his band played about 90 minutes of sizzling, crunching, bluesy roots rock from his solo career and his time in the Blasters, and the sellout crowd ate it up and made itself heard.
