Avoiding Having Your Intelligence Insulted, Presidential Stupidity Edition

Because Val and I could not face the pain of having our brains, ears and humanity hurt, we did not watch and/or listen to President Bush's address tonight; we have subjected ourselves to this punishment too many times.
Instead, we watched the 30-minute DVD film on the recording of Bruce Springsteen's "We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions" (a very well-done film and yes, we feel Springsteen and Pete Seeger are good remedies for Bush and Company) and then watched the episode of "Family Guy" that we DVRed Sunday.
