Let There Be Light
After the alarm went off at 6 a.m., the first thing that I noticed, outside of not wanting to be awake/out of bed, was that the street light on our front lawn, the part that is a City of Buffalo easement, I believe, was working.
This is great news, because about 2 weeks ago, the light stopped working, and after a week of hoping it was temporary, I called the city's mayor's complaint line. I admit I didn't think to check for it after Saturday night, so I don't know for certain when it went back on, but it is shining now.
For safety's sake (Val gets home when it is getting dark as I am always nervous about her walking), this is the best news we've had in a few days.
