Who? Try Again, People
As most homeowners know and experience, especially when you live in an allegedly trendy neighborhood with strong house values such as ours in the Elmwood Village on the West Side of Buffalo, you receive lots of letters and door hangers from Realtors and real estate people trying to buy and sell your home.
Some look worse the harder they try. We received a multicolor letter with art work from Sam Gurney, president of Gurney, Becker and Bourne, explaining that they wanted to be our Realtor if we wanted to sell our house.
But the letter is addressed to "Valerie & Kevin J. Dunne,"and hard as it is to pass on such obvious competence, research and quality work, Val and I do not plan to ever sell this house.

Wow, 11 days now, Kevin? Of course, you have a very good reason to be moving, and we're glad you guys are staying in the city and adding to the population.
