Will the Leaves Change Colors Soon?

It is beginning to look a lot like autumn around Buffalo/Western New York, with the temperatures ridiculously and unseasonably cold and the sun making very few recent appearances.
This used to be the best season for taking Walker Evans on his walks or to the Lasalle Park dog park and Squaw Island, but particularly at the two parks on the water, things are downright chilly for man and beast.
It's almost as if I and others want to mow their lawns so we can sit on the warm engines while the mowers are running; yes, a lovely site to picture. At least the temperatures are more fitting for the upcoming NHL Stanley Cup finals between Detroit and Pittsburgh.
