Bad Lawn Sandwich
With the weather going from fine to f@#*ed up recently, as well as Val and I being busy and me forgetting to get gas for our lawnmower, you could say that the grass on our lawn is starting to look a wee bit overgrown, particularly on the side and back lawn.
While our green growth is substantial, our neighbor on the left as you look from the street, Lynn O'Meara, mowed their lawn Sunday, while her husband, musician Jim Whitford, was out of town (more on that in a minute), and our new owner/neighbor on the other side, who is renovating and apparently moving into the house, mowed his lawn either late Friday or early Saturday before it rained.
So, you could say that our lawn has fashioned itself into a lawn sandwich, with our lawn's fillings hanging over the roll provided by each of our neighbor's lawns. Thanks a lot, friends.
