Electro-Respect Tribute to Mark Freeland
"Electro-Respect," a tribute to the late, great musician and artist Mark Freeland, will be held tonight, Thursday, May 1, at Nietzsche's, the College Street Gallery, and Gallery 224, all within a block of each other on Allen Street in Buffalo.
May 1 is Freeland's birthday, and the bands and musicians performing at Nietzsche's starting at 8 p.m. include The Fems, David Kane, Lonesome Roads, Handsome Jack, Mike Wagner, The Found, Peanut Brittle Satellite, Cowboys of Scotland and Ed Koban. Admission here will be $5.
There will also be an accompanying art and photo show of works of Mark at the College Street Art Gallery and Gallery 224 starting at 6 p.m. My lovely wife and occasional blog contributor, Val Dunne, will have some of her photography of Freeland on display.
